Red Kidney Bean Curry.


From smitten. I eat a lot of beans, so it's always nice to try something other than chili. I'm also a huge fan of Indian food, so this is a nice thing to have in my back pocket. It comes together pretty quick, maybe 30 minutes from start to finish.

  2. Primarily based around cumin, but I like to use a lot of cumin. I used ground ginger instead of fresh ginger, some cayenne, turmeric. Tastes like Indian but not like garam masala.

  3. I have a nice tagine recipe that uses similar spices. I really like turmeric. I should cook with it more.
